John attended the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles and graduated in 1971.
John was a American artist and painter who created posters for movies throughout his career; his first movie art was Blazing Saddles. Other notable movies I personally enjoyed was E.T., Star Wars, and Lord of the Rings, just to name a few. In Johns over thirty year career he created over 135 movie posters.

Thanks for posting his dates.. he died too young! The interesting thing about our mini reviews is to understand a bit about the people behind our visual environment that we take for granted every day.
